Hey guys, as I am typing this, I am finishing up a vanilla chilled coffee (kind of like a frappuccino) from a coffee shop called "Red, White & Brew" in Sea Isle, New Jersey.
Honestly, 10/10 coffee this morning. It was sweet, but not overbearing with sugar. I ran out with my stepdad, one of the things we like to do together on vacation, it was very needed.
What are you drinking on this Monday morning? What are your plans for today?
I am on vacation, again. But this should be my last getaway of the summer.
We are vacationing in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, a place I've been to numerous times. I enjoy our stay here, it is lively but not too bad.
Whenever I spend the week at the beach, I buy a book or two to spend my time reading with my beach chair lining the ocean's tides.
This week I went for a different type of book (bye young adult era), a murder-mystery called "Nothing to Hide" by Allison Brennan.
It's about a FBI agent who's called to the San Antonio area after three married men with no connection are found brutally murdered. It's a psychological thriller where Lucy, the main character, has to act fast to help solve the case all the while she has a dark past herself.
I am about nine chapters in from yesterday's outing on the beach and I can't wait to continue my reading.
In other news, my idol Taylor Swift released her newest single called "You Need to Calm Down" and I am in looooove! The vibes are so empowering and she's taking such advantage of her influence on the world through supporting gay rights.
The cover image of this post is my edit rendition of the single's cover and I think I did a pretty good job.
Proud to say I am a T-Swizzle stan.
I am going to set up a poll on my Instagram tomorrow for Friday's topic (@abigailclifford), so don't miss out!
Thanks for chatting over coffee with me, I hope your coffee was as refreshing as mine was.
Until Friday,
Abigail
